The Cooperation between Heilongjiang Bureau of Surveying and Mapping and Australia's Geographic Information Industry was pushed forward again

On September 17, Mr. Wang Baomin, director general of Heilongjiang Bureau of Surveying and Mapping and Mr. Miao Qianjun, deputy director of the bureau met Mr. Tony Hope, the project officer of Australia New South Wales Bureau of Land Management, Mr. Errol Chopping, the professor of Charles Sturt University and Mr. David Tien, the chairman of IEEE NSW. They made a deepened discussion about cooperation on outsourcing services of geographic information data, software development outsourcing and talent training.
 
It was not only a re-visit since Charles Sturt University has visited our bureau in January of this year, but also was a further implementation about the cooperation intention discussed by last visit. This time, they introduced Mr. Tony Hope, the project officer of Australia New South Wales Bureau of Land Management to our bureau. Mr. Tony Hope expressed that they would like to carry out some experimental outsourcing projects. Professor Errol Chopping also expressed that Charles Sturt University would send some experts and professors on geographic information and computer to our bureau to carry out the training work.
 
These Australian guests also visted the Digital Surveying and Mapping Production Base of our bureau, and gave full recognition to the production capacity and technological level of geographical information of our bureau.
